Students and graduates from DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe-Bilbao have contributed to thousands of professional video game projects, working as artists, designers, programmers, and in many other roles.

DigiPen was the first university to offer a degree in video game development, and talent trained at its Bilbao campus has contributed to more than 2,000 globally credited video games. In addition, projects developed in Bilbao have received over 420 awards across various festivals and competitions.

Professionally, more than 1,750 companies worldwide have hired DigiPen talent, including over 200 companies that have recruited students and graduates from the Bilbao campus.

A Tribute to the Animation Golden Age: Conej Steps Out Triumphs Across the Globe

What started as a student project at DigiPen exceeded all expectations, becoming the most awarded short film in the institution’s history. It has been selected in 15 countries, won over 20 international awards, and participated in more than 60 legendary festivals, including Annecy, Cannes Marché du Film, and Animafest Zagreb. It has crossed borders, been translated into French, Spanish, and Hungarian, and screened on Movistar+ and at Instituto Cervantes centers worldwide.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation at DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe-Bilbao is a rigorous, project-based program focused on building the core technology behind video games and interactive systems.

Students study mathematics, physics, and computer science while developing strong programming skills in areas such as data structures, graphics rendering, and software architecture.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation at DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe-Bilbao is a rigorous, project-based program focused on professional art production.

Students begin by mastering traditional fundamentals such as drawing, composition, color, and visual storytelling, and progressively move into digital tools, including 2D and 3D animation, modeling, and industry-standard software pipelines.
