The need for a basic knowledge of simple programming is becoming more and more commonplace and knowing how to program simple software could help you further yourself both personally and professionally. Whether you are sixteen or sixty, there is no best age for learning to code.

In our workshop focused on introducing you to programming through Python, you will learn the fundamentals of object-oriented programming using Visual Studio, a code editor. Object-oriented programming is based on the concept of objects each object contains its own procedures or methods. Software is designed by using objects that interact with one another. We will guide you through the basic principles of coding covering areas such as, file input and output, user interaction, simple logic, programming flow, loops, variables, and basic data types. We’ll also get you to a place where you’re ready to start writing complete programs with real-world applications.
