How to Get a Student Visa

If you are a European Union (EU) citizen, you do not need a student visa to study at the DigiPen Europe-Bilbao campus. If you are not an EU citizen, you will need to complete the following steps to seek a student visa:

  1. First, you must apply for admission to DigiPen Europe-Bilbao. If you are accepted into a program, we will provide you with an acceptance letter and an enrollment agreement. You should keep copies of these documents for your own use.
  2. Visa requirements vary from country to country so your first step is to Contact the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in your country to find out exactly what the process is for you, and which documents you are going to need. We will provide you with any documents or certificates that are required from us. In most cases, you will need to make an appointment at the Embassy or Consulate to physically process your student visa.
  3. At the interview, the Spanish Embassy will review your request, and all the paperwork that you have presented and either approve or deny the student visa.
