For the second straight year, a student team from DigiPen Europe-Bilbao won big at Gamelab Barcelona, this time for their zany first-person adventure.
With its elemental power-ups and fluid motion mechanics, the sophomore project came out on top in the Gamelab Conference’s “Best University Game” category.
The DigiPen student game Umbra Chronicles: The Awakening won Best Basque Video Game at the 2013 International Independent Game Competition – hóPlay.
Twisted, a student game by Team Armageddon at DigiPen Bilbao, was nominated for “Best Student Game” at the 2013 Gamelab Barcelona event in Spain.
