Twisted, a student game by Team Armageddon at DigiPen Bilbao, has been nominated for the “Best Student Game” award at the 2013 Gamelab Barcelona event in Spain.

Twisted is a colorful 2D platformer about a space-traveling chameleon stranded on a foreign planet. Players must change their color to adapt to the environment, eating dragonflies and dodging evil stinging bees as they make their way through the game. The game was made by students Ander Goenaga, producer; Ander Alzola, game designer; Andoni Besa, technical director; Aitor Tejedor, programmer; Ander Amo, programmer; and Sendoa Bergasa, artist.

The Gamelab awards are voted on by members of the Spanish Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on June 27.
