Psychology Affiliate Lecturer,
Department of Humanities and Social Sciences

Description: The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking an instructor to join their academic activities. We are considering part-time candidates for the summer semester running from May to July at the DigiPen Europe-Bilbao campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach PSY 101: Introduction to Psychology to undergraduate students.
  • Grade assignments and projects, provide feedback, tutor, and input assignment data.
  • Participate in course assessment, such as lecture development and assignment design.
  • Work closely with students by accommodating a wide variety of learning styles and diverse abilities.
  • Conduct courses and materials exclusively in English as our students are international.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in psychology.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related area.
  • Three or more years of professional experience in psychology.
  • Experience in the field of video games.

Affiliate Professor,
Department of Computer Science

Description: The Department of Computer Science is currently looking for members to join their academic activities. We are considering both part-time and full-time candidates. Expectations:

  • Teach undergraduate-level courses to students, grade assignments and projects, provide feedback, tutor, and input of assignment data.

Open Student Employment

Student Employment at DigiPen Europe-Bilbao is open to all currently matriculated students if they meet the qualifications for the job. All student positions are paid roles, and you can apply to multiple positions. Later, the Academic Support Center staff will work with you to sort out which position(s) might be most beneficial for your case, evaluating the pool of candidates and the needs of the departments.

DigiPen Student Employee Academic Requirements:

  • To be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe-Bilbao
  • Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course Catalog
  • Passed the respective class you will be a teacher assistant, tutor, or grader for with a B or higher

Teacher Assistant for PRJ 101, Spring 2024,

Essential Functions:

The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting students by helping incorporate their drawings into their video game project

Employment Details:

  • Workload: 4h/week for 2 weeks
  • Schedule: Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
