Are you interested in understanding how systems that can learn, analyze data and solve complex problems actually work? Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we develop software, analyze information and create new technological solutions. Making that possible requires professionals with a solid foundation in computer science, mathematics and the development of intelligent systems.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence is a rigorous academic program that prepares you to develop computing solutions and systems capable of learning from data. Over four years, you will start by building a solid foundation in computer science, programming and mathematics, and then go deeper into areas such as machine learning, deep learning, data analysis, computer vision and natural language processing.

As a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, you will learn not only to use artificial intelligence tools, but to understand how they work and to develop your own systems. You will graduate with a solid foundation in computer science, mathematics, data analysis and artificial intelligence, along with the hands-on experience needed to take on the challenges of the technology industry.

Who is this degree for?

The Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence is designed for students with an interest in programming, mathematics and solving complex problems. If you want to understand how artificial intelligence algorithms and models work, you are keen to uncover patterns in data and you want to develop systems capable of learning and carrying out complex tasks, this degree is designed for you.

With this degree you will:

  • Master the fundamentals of computer science and programming

You will build a solid foundation in computer science and learn to program using languages such as C, C++ and Python.

  • Build a strong foundation in mathematics and data analysis

You will apply concepts from mathematics, probability, statistics and data analysis to tackle problems related to artificial intelligence and machine learning.

  • Design and develop artificial intelligence systems

You will learn to implement, evaluate and manage machine learning and deep learning algorithms and models for different applications.

Academic roadmap

As a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, you will begin by developing a solid foundation in programming, computer science and mathematics. During the first years you will learn the fundamentals of programming with C and C++, data structures, operating systems, algorithm analysis and databases, while building up your mathematical knowledge. As you advance through the program, you will start applying these fundamentals to the field of artificial intelligence. You will study machine learning, data analysis and visualization, predictive modeling and deep learning, learning to develop and evaluate systems capable of extracting information and making predictions from real-world data. During the final years you will be able to go deeper into different areas of specialization, such as natural language processing, computer vision, neural networks, distributed data management and data science. Throughout the program you will take part in collaborative projects that will let you put your knowledge into practice and develop applications, technology demos or contribute to the creation of a video game.
